Acapulco Dreamin'

Vacatiooooooooooon! Wow 5 days in Mexico with some of the coolest kids Detroit Metro and Chi-town have to offer. Paradise at last............

Checked into the Crowne Hotel the first night and rolled 8 deep to get some dinner. We met some chicks from Boston and proceeded to show them how michigan does it. SHOTS!!! ANNIE UP! Def. in the mood to get to the club, but my ass is turned away b/c i'm wearin' shorts. No prob I say, let's roll to the strip club. Me, Dustin and Katrina leave the group and go to this club that's hoppin. We grab a booth and notice that all around us their's hard core porn on all the flat screen tv's. We're like WTF.....but we're cool with it. Couple minutes later a couple comes in and sits next to us in the booth and before you know it, this dude is finger bangin' his girl in front of everyone. We were dyin'........is that dude for real? Apparently he was thinkin the same thing, b/c 5 minutes later when we look over again he was getting head from this chick! WHOOAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! This was nutz, anything goes in Mexico. We grab a quick lap dance then got out of there.......pretty shady.

Next day we head on up to the Villas to meet the rest of our crew. 21 total and we are in awe. This is the nicest place i've ever stayed at to date. There is an intricate maze of rooms and more rooms that are connected together. Couple this with your private bartender, cooks, maids, private pool, fish shaped hot tub, and view of all Acapulco and you are livin' large! We start binge drinking and having a blast. Anything you want, you had access too. We headed out to El Abrije for the night and tore this place up. I found my way to the dance floor and began recruiting the local talent. Before you know if we had 8 canadians that were ready for anything. We cut a rug and did a plethora of shots before we headed back to the villas. We hung out with the girls and before you know if I was going to bed with the sun coming up.........

Saturday-Monday was the same thing..........party and drink all day, only to stop and get ready for the club. In the effort of saving time, i'll fast forward to the last night. We hit up Paladium, which i've heard is the number1 or 2 club in the world?? Not sure if this is true but it was amazing! Stadium seating and private booths with waiters all over the place. We had had a MSU sorority over earlier in the evening before we headed out, so we immediately located them when we got in the door. These girls were out of control.......and there was a ton of them. We all hit up the dance floor, where I was doing the Soldier Boy dance with one of them(which i was pretty impressed she knew it) and trying not to go deaf from all the bass. Sooooooo many shots I was in rare form, but then again when wasn't I on this trip? The Devil was the highlight of the night, a guy painted all in silver with strobe lights attached to his wrists, contacts that made his eyes glow, and a getup coupled with a headdress that would be the ultimate halloween costume if one was to wear it. He adlibs to a song called "Sex, Drugs and House". The way this guy could get the crowd surging was fucking amazing! You had so much adrenaline going that anything seemed possible at any second. CO2 would blast from the ceiling and you wouldn't be able to see..........chaos all around you. We finally rolled out, some of the MSU chicks coming with us......haha. The stories from the guys the next morning were hilarious...........ahhhhh good old MSU. Finally, it was time to catch the plane and return to 20 degree weather. Only one of the guys caugh Monezuma's Revenge(diahhrea and flu combo due to drinking/eating bad food/water). We had a crash landing that scared the shit out of me b/c the weather was so bad. I had to question myself of why I live in Michigan? I really couldn't justify a good answer........maybe that is a sign.

It's funny when you take a trip like this and your able to briefly leave all your stress and troubles behind you that you find yourself analyzing your life. Things that you normally don't think about run through your mind and you kind of challenge yourself as to what makes you happy and what you want out of life.......I voiced this to many of my now friends from the trip that I hadn't met until 5 days before and found that they too had had similar thoughts. I guess this is a normal thing.......wow, already thinking about future vacations. Acapulco, you were one for the record books! Good friends, good times, and i'm peeling like crazy.....

By the way, "Gorilla Log" isn't unique to myself and MSU as many of the other people were recording funny quotes and documenting events similar to the way we have in the past in a book/scroll/voice recorder. I hope JSomps has these treasured artifacts under lock and key and doesn't lose them the way he did that movie we found in Fort Lauderdale many many years ago......haha.
